Free-Reed ODYSSEY, featuring Daniel Barski on accordion, is one of the most well engineered accordion CDs JANPress has heard to date.  That doesn't seem to be such a large claim until one realizes that this recording was done entirely in Mr. Barski's basement home studio, with multiple parts being accomplished through his own overdubs! The beautiful clarity and reverbs are astounding and his Petosa accordion is just as sumptuous sounding as the recording technique. You will also appreciate Mr. Barski's choice in musical material, all of which show the wide range of musical cognizance and appreciation he possesses. This is a CD worth having, and JANPress is certain you will find it unique, interesting, and rewarding.
