| Description:
Carnival of Venice (arranged
by Edmund Cifani of Rocky River, Ohio) appears to have been a melody that
has been around for at least a few hundred years and has traversed many
cultures. Although it is typically associated with the Italians, there
is evidence that this melody existed in many other cultures as well. Paganini
himself even composed some variations on this unique melody. Of course
in the accordion world, Charles Magnante and Pietro Deiro created well-known
arrangements of this tune that are considered standards in the accordion
literature today. Ed Cifani carries on this fine tradition by delivering
this new arrangement, which true to his creative character, is totally
unique, fresh, interesting, and attractive. We're proud to add this fourth
offering to our catalog by Mr. Cifani, because he has come up with another
"knock-out", and we know you will love it. |
