"Scenes Of Paree" (composed by Edmund Cifani of Rocky River, Ohio) is Mr. Cifani's masterpiece in this realm of accordion writing.  Composed as a multi-movement work in three sections, Scenes from Paree takes one through all of the moods and beauty of Paris and French music.  While being very challenging at times, it is still a very accessible piece and not prone to technical excess for the sake of technique.  It is simply a well constructed composition which is a pleasure to perform and to hear. Also, as with all of Mr. Cifani's offerings at JANPress, every minute detail is notated and not left to chance.  The composer knows exactly the sounds and the music he wants from his pieces, and takes every care to notate a precise musical road map for the performer.  Enjoy!
