| Description:
Spacings (written
by Guy Klucevsek in 1975 for free bass accordion, piano, and vibraphone)
is a meditative piece reminiscent of the works of Morton Feldman or John
Cage. Spacings has no score. Rather the individual parts each have
8 staves that may be played in any order according to the composer, with
each staff being played only once. The resulting effect is that of free-flowing
series of delicate sonic events that can be potentially very different
with each presentation. |
