Sweet Toot! is
a very challenging work written by Henry Doktorski for a solo accordion
free bass system. The work whimsically comes in four "flavors" or
movements:

Capriccio Caramel

Molto Molasses

Butterscotch Scherzo

Toffee Toccata
and just like Henry's other pieces, is very clever, imaginative,
and surprising. Most other JANPress offerings from Mr. Doktorski
are tonal in nature, but this piece clearly shows that he possesses the
compositional skills to venture outside the world of traditional tonalism.
Don't let the capricious title of the work or its movements lead you to
believe this is a lightweight composition. Quite the contrary, the
work gets very involved and explores themes in a very organic and skillfully
cohesive fashion.
