Scherzo is a real mesmerizing tour de force piano work from Sergei Prokofieff arranged for free bass accordion by Mickey Bilisia. Not only was Mr. Bisilia an outstanding composer, he also had produced hundreds of transcriptions and arrangements for his students, many of which got them first place trophies year after year at the American Accordionists' Association competitions. This is just another fine example of Mr. Bisilia's ability to choose outstanding repertoire, then very artfully sculp the arrangements or transcriptions to work equally well if not better on the standard bass or free bass accordion as on the original instrument for which it was composed..
