Frank Marocco is undoubtedly the foremost and busiest accordionist currently working in the recording studios of  the Los Angeles and Hollywood.  JANPress couldn't be more proud to have such a giant in the accordion field as one of our most esteemed and featured artists.  As you will see from his prolific list of movie and television credits at www.frankmarocco.com , Frank is the person film directors and producers demand in Hollywood when they require a seasoned professional accordionist who can meet their rigorous demands to play any style at any moment in the film or television score.  In addition to those talents, Frank is an incredible jazz artist who has played and recorded jazz with groups all over the globe.  Unparalleled in the jazz arena, his style is always fresh, innovative, and chock full of intelligent yet musical ideas.

Frank began his musical career began in Chicago, Illinois where at age 17 he took first place in a national music contest. He performed his winning solo with Mark Weber and the Chicago Pops Orchestra playing before several thousand people in Soldiers Field.

Frank spent the next few years traveling all over the U.S.A. with his quartet playing the top hotels and clubs including Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Palm Springs, finally settling in Los Angeles.

He later worked with the Les Brown Band and Bob Hope, working on Mr. Hope's television shows and traveling with him around the world entertaining the servicemen.

He also did six Love Boat cruises with the Les Brown Band as a featured soloist.

As mentioned above, in recent years Frank has done a great deal of studio session work on the West Coast including movie sound tracks, television, records and jingles. He was nominated eight years in a row as Most Valuable Player by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (N.A.R.A.S.).  He has recorded with Madonna, composed music for the "Charlie's Angels" remake in 2000 and continues to perform with a whole host of many popular recording artists.
