 Gary
Dahl,
a former commercial pilot, flight instructor,
and sales manager for two large corporations is currently active as an
accordionist, educator, composer, arranger, and recording artist for Mel
Bay publications and Santorella Publications. Residing in Puyallup,
Washington, Mr. Dahl received his BA degree from the University of Wahington
with a minor in music theory and composition. From 1958 to the present
Gary has led his own bands and also performed as a single for everything
from private clubs to hotel lounges. A recognized teacher, Gary Dahl
provides specialized training for all levels of students, including lessons
via correspondence through the Gary Dahl Accordion School. Many graduates
have won competitions world wide and and have attained professional status.
Today Gary is heard as a soloist for exclusive private engagements and
is busy writing and recording 11 new books for Mel Bay Publishing and 4
new books for Santorella Publications. |
