  • Studied privately with various accordion teachers 1940-1947
  • Studied harmony & theory with Alfred D' Auberge 1949-1950
  • Studied with Dr. Earl Brown, teacher of renowned jazz pianist Bill Evans
  • Also studied with Andrei Sobolsky 1957-1958 and Bernard Pfeiffer 1966-1968
  • Taught/managed accordion studio 1950-1956 and during that time built enrollment from 50-300 students
  • Taught privately 1956-1960
  • Opened East Brunswick Academy of Music 1960-1968 with an enrollment of 600 students weekly
  • Professional playing career includes playing with groups Airlane Trio and Johnny Ray band as well as his own combos working top supper and nightclubs in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
