STORY |
|
Yes, you are not
imagining things. This web site had not been updated or enhanced
since 2003....6 YEARS! That's because other work obligations
external to JANPress required almost non-stop attention over the
last 6 years. However, the good news is that more time can once
again be dedicated to this web site and its customers.
Many apologies for the neglect over the last 6 years, and any
inconvenience that may have caused our long-time or potentially new
customers. We look forward to servicing our customers again in the
fashion in which you deserve !! Please, if you have not heard
back from us at janpresspub@yahoo.com
we encourage you to contact us once again and we will try to service
you as quickly as possible. |

What
has changed since our last update in 2003? |
Several years after its
inception in 1997, JANPress wanted to expose the world to as much
previously unpublished accordion music as would be possible. So we
developed many clients and offered that music and CDs to you.
However, that approach strayed from our original paradigm which was
to use this web site to promote written and recorded music of Joseph
Natoli and his teacher Mickey Bisilia, and a select few additional
composers/arrangers/artists. The more JANPress took on additional
clients the less we were able to stick with our original intent.
Consequently, the new JANPress will get back to its roots and
promote the accordion music that adheres more closely with that
original vision. You will therefore see a shorter composer/client
list in our links. If you have suggestions or do not agree with that
approach, feel free to drop us a line to let us know how you think
this web site can better service your needs.
We may decide once again to grow our client list, but for now we
need to get back to basics, create our benchmark inventory, and grow
from there based on your needs. Thanks for your patronage
since 1997. |
