Accordion
  • Joseph Petric Home Page - Very nice site to get a glimpse of all the CDs, performances, and reviews of both for one of Canada's leading chromatic free bass accordionists.
  • Accordions Worldwide - One of the greatest accordion reference sites that we know of. Outstanding web pages and a great service to the accordion community.
  • The Classical Free-Reed, Inc. - Designed and maintained by classical accordion artist and composer, Henry Doktorski. This site is an excellent complement to the Accordions Worldwide site above. It's a first rate endeavor with loads of good accordion artist and literature information. Well worth exploring and bookmarking.
  • Wendy Morrison's Home for Wayward Accordions - What can we say? Anyone who's been into the accordion newsgroup knows Wendy. Very nicely designed web site with lots of good info on accordions and uplifting humor. Also see the companion site for House of Musical Traditions
  • The Canadian Music Centre - Not an Accordion site per se, but one of the greatest resources of contemporary Canadian accordion literature available. Using an Oracle database search engine, the CMC allows you to search for approximately 100 listed works for accordion in their library and then check them out of the library all on-line and free of charge!! The only charge to US citizens would be the return postage. If you live in Canada, you don't even have to pay the return postage. They are very prompt and efficient with each order.
  • Rootsworld - "The online magazine of world music, roots, folk...the music made by people for people" (to quote their own homepage). A very nice site with lots of interesting reviews, soundfiles, World Music news, and more.
  • The Cavagnolo/Odyssee Site - Visit this site for the specifics on one of the truly innovative reedless MIDI accordions we have seen. This instrument sounds and controls it bellows just like an acoustic accordion and has to be seen and heard to be truly appreciated.
  • Available CDs at the Canadian Music Centre - Lists performers available on CDs distributed by the Canadian Music Centre Distribution Service. These performers are listed in order of their last name.
  • The American Music Center - Like the Canadian Music Centre, this site does have search capabilities on accordion literature, but is not nearly as extensive and is not free.
  • KATOU's Accordion Room, Japan - Very nice and comprehensive accordion site in Japan. Definitely worth visiting if you want to see what our accordion friends are doing on the other side of the world.
